It’s no secret that Rainbow Haven Beach is one of my favorite places to take pictures at, so when M said she was up for an evening beach session with her daughter I was delighted! Both were so beautiful, and matched the evening so well. We even got to play in the sand at the end!
As a family photographer, I have the privilege of capturing the joyous moments and beautiful connections shared among families. Recently, Dartmouth Commons set the stage for a heartwarming spring photoshoot that was filled with love, laughter, and the magic of family. In this delightful session, mom and dad, accompanied by their two young children—a little girl who adored being in front of the camera and a funny little boy who kept us all on our toes—were joined by the cherished presence of grandma and grandpa, visiting all the way from Spain!
I had a nice mini-session with this great family a few weeks ago. We chose the Cole Harbour Heritage Park Trail, and I really loved this rustic fence. This is a new spot and I am excited to see what it looks like once the leaves begin to change!
The Doirons are a beautiful family I had the pleasure of photographing for the first time this summer, in a new-to-me location! I met them in the morning at Shubie Campground, where we walked along some of the trails. I hope I get to take more pictures here, I love this little bridge! I have a feeling this spot will be gorgeous in the fall.
I loved the creativity during this shoot. Mom brought some cute floppy hats and a delicate tea set for the girls to enjoy a little tea party. I would also love to mention that mom is rocking a gorgeous vintage green skirt that was her grandmother’s.

I’ve lived in Eastern Passage going on three years, and I’ve always been in love with the patches of lupins that grow near the Shearwater Flyer Trail in Eastern Passage at the end of June. I was so pleased when Erica contacted me, to say that she wanted them as her backdrop to her family pictures this year! Not only was it a stunning day for pictures, but this family was wonderful to photograph. The kids were so sweet and patient with my directions, and mom and dad are funny and easy going. It was a great session, and I’m in love with how these pictures turned out.
