Catherine and Drew are amazing, humble, funny, and kind. They are an incredible pair and we had a fun, laid-back engagement session on the Halifax waterfront. Even though the first part of our shoot was dampened by some rain, they were ready to make the best of it and I think the end result speaks for itself. I’m so excited for their 2022 wedding!

When I met up with Caitlyn and Edward for their engagement session last summer, I remember what a beautiful day it was. Like, one of those summer days that make you want to get a scoop of ice cream, and stroll slowly along the waterfront, savoring a slow pace with no where to go.
I was pretty excited about this engagement session, because it was my first time photographing an engaged couple. I think it’s so amazing that I get to be part of their journey into marriage, first doing their engagement session, and then their wedding. What an honour to witness that transformation! Our first stop of the day was Crystal Crescent Beach, where I first met Stacey, Nadine and of course, Timber the dog. It was early April, beautiful, sunny….windy and cold. Dreams of getting beautiful beachside photos were quickly squashed! Thankfully, Stacey and Nadine are easy going and flexible and suggested we just take a drive back into Halifax!
