I had a nice mini-session with this great family a few weeks ago. We chose the Cole Harbour Heritage Park Trail, and I really loved this rustic fence. This is a new spot and I am excited to see what it looks like once the leaves begin to change!

One of my New Year’s resolutions professionally speaking is to post more here (with permission! of course). So here we are, with my first newborn session of 2022. It’s so sweet, to be able to meet these new, beautiful little people. I love chatting with mom and dad about their experiences with parenthood, so far. Anyways, a sweet little in-home lifestyle newborn session. We had some excited furry friends, a beautiful indoor home garden, a pretty chill mom and dad, and of course the star of the show, little V.
I’ve lived in Eastern Passage going on three years, and I’ve always been in love with the patches of lupins that grow near the Shearwater Flyer Trail in Eastern Passage at the end of June. I was so pleased when Erica contacted me, to say that she wanted them as her backdrop to her family pictures this year! Not only was it a stunning day for pictures, but this family was wonderful to photograph. The kids were so sweet and patient with my directions, and mom and dad are funny and easy going. It was a great session, and I’m in love with how these pictures turned out.
I was contacted for an extended family photography session at their property in Purcell’s Cove. The occasion was bittersweet: after 50 years, their home would soon belong to someone else. It was the right moment to have pictures done, so that they could hold on to a piece of their family history forever. Thank you for letting me be part of this!
Jae and Alex are a stellar couple that I’ve known for a number of years now. They happened to be back in the Halifax area and contacted me for some family pictures. They have four kids under four, so their goal was a laid-back one: to get pictures with the six of them all in the frame at once! We headed to Point Pleasant Park for a nice afternoon session. It was special for them, as this is where they were married. Their four children are beautiful and full of personality, and I think we captured some really great moments with their family.
Had an energetic home session with this growing family! With three boys and a new baby sister, there was no shortage of sweet faces and show-and-tell! This family loves their home and spending time together, and saw it fitting that I capture them as they are, imperfections and all! Kelly is a local small business owner herself over at East Coast Kelly, and was hoping for an updated headshot, which I was happy to accommodate!
Back when it was beautiful and sunny, I had the opportunity to do an extended family photoshoot with the MacKinnon family at Rainbow Haven Beach. Four adult children with their own families…two of whom travelled from out west to spend some time together as a family. It was special to have the whole group together! There is a lot of love and laughter in this family, and I’m so pleased to have been able to capture these images for them.
