Our first stop of the day was Crystal Crescent Beach, where I first met Stacey, Nadine and of course, Timber the dog. It was early April, beautiful, sunny….windy and cold. Dreams of getting beautiful beachside photos were quickly squashed! Thankfully, Stacey and Nadine are easy going and flexible and suggested we just take a drive back into Halifax!

This photoshoot marked my first experience where my primary subject was a dog! You see, Timber is a service dog in training. He has been working with Stacey through the Maritime Specialty Service Dogs Society. In order to complete his training Timber needed a good headshot for his website profile, and Stacey also needed one with him. While we were at it we threw in some great photos of the whole family.

Nadine and Stacey were a really lovely couple. Nadine always seemed to have a laugh ready to burst out, and Stacey was more than happy to provide the material. I really enjoyed our relaxed session.
