Jill and Josh are mom and dad in a beautiful little blended family with 2 kids, Kaden and Cameron. They have been a family for a number of years, and when I asked Jill what her primary motivation was for hiring me to take their pictures, her answer was, “I want to have something concrete to show that we are a family. I know that we are not your typical family, but even though we are blended, we are still here for each other.” What a perfect answer.

We headed to beautiful Shubie Park in Dartmouth, NS on a gorgeous sunny spring day (can we have that weather back, please and thanks?!). The kids were absolutely amazing. They didn’t put up any fuss to having their pictures taken! And of course, they were so so cute. I asked what they love doing as a family, and the answer was sports! I told them to grab a football and bring it along. We got some great pictures of them playing catch. It’s always a winner too, to get dad comfortable and on board 😉

All in all, I am so pleased with how these turned out. I got word from Jill that they got one printed on canvas and it is already hanging above their bed! That kind of news makes me a happy camper 🙂
