A couple of weeks ago, I hosted a contest to give away a free photography session.  When I contacted Erin and Kris to let them know that they won, they told me the story about their family, and I was so excited to meet them! Zachary and Wyatt are twins who spent a good portion of their first weeks in the hospital, growing and developing until they were healthy enough to go home with mom and dad. They did amazingly well, and are home and healthy! Mom and dad really wanted to capture the precious moments when their boys are still babies, but things were so busy in the first few months that they didn’t have a chance.

Five months old and full of so much spunk, this photoshoot was exciting and fun. As it apparently goes with twins (my first time photographing twins!) they have veeeerrry different personalities! That can be a bit challenging when it comes to getting both babies to smile at the same time, but its also so amazing to see two babies so uniquely different.

Erin and Kris seemed laid back and relaxed. They were absolute champs during out shoot, and you could tell theirs was a practiced routine of teamwork and efficiency; those boys are well taken care of. Erin knits, and made the most adorable hats for them, with a W and Z design!

It was an absolutely pleasure to meet this family, and I can’t wait to see how Zachary and Wyatt change and grow as they get older!
